As someone who went to college in Norton, the pronunciation threw me back years and it was great.

I resubscribed to willow for this and it’s not a great feeling!

I really want to know his opinion on the 2005 ALCS dropped 3rd strike, and if 13 year old me can ever have forgiveness for the things I thought in the aftermath as an Angels fan

Weird, the Cleveland feed for me today had the local ads, and the Red Sox as well. This was through the mobile app, think they serve different ads depending on your platform of choice.

It may be similar to what ESPN did with the NHL version of the same service, where it is bundled into the single subscription fee. I wouldn’t bet on that though, and I am positive Manfred doesn’t care at all beyond making sure the check clears.

Spurs-Pistons was for mid 2000’s defensive sickos only, but it’s close

I’m so happy some people remember the same things

The new pope has opinions on AJ Pierzynski (and probably fond recollections).

Very happy for you and your pacers fandom

I interned at the FCC as a law student in 2015-16. They had given notice they would be vacating the old space, completed the move in 2020 or 21. That building is still completely empty to best of my knowledge.

I played what the golf when it was an Apple Arcade title - not sure if that limited exposure or if it was more widely available and fell into the pandemic hole. Great game!

As a Georgetown Law 2017 graduate, this describes the vast majority of my professors (and I would assume the vast majority of the legal academy).

Just backed!

On a separate note, interested in some shutter pages. Is Etsy contact the best way to go? Love your work!

That’s fair and I get you being frustrated. I was replying to a thread I saw on my discover tab and didn’t see the whole thread, even when I clicked through, and thought I was adding something to a conversation that hadn’t been covered. wasn’t the case, wasn’t trying to pile on or escalate.
February 10, 2024 at 2:52 AM
Sure! Bluesky interface isn’t great for this stuff. Wasn’t trying to treat you like an idiot - I’ve seen a lot in the mainstream reporting that suggests the only reason to not recall things is senility. NYT and Wapo main headlines today led with that.

Also, to do a very twitter thing I would quote (and I get that I’m the one that jumped in)
February 10, 2024 at 2:38 AM
Sure. I guess a lot of the response is driven by the characterization of the defensive response as glossing, when there are real reasons to think the entire report is a hack job.
February 10, 2024 at 2:37 AM
Perjury is not a serious option/concern in this case, but the report is a major consideration. If Biden said, “X didn’t happen in 2017” and it did, that’s a problem. If he says, I don’t remember, it’s a different kind of problem, but (as the outcome proves) not a legal one.

Hey - sorry to insert myself into a conversation that seems over, but as a lawyer, if I had a client that did not remember exactly when something happened, to the date, I would probably want them to reply in a vague way (e.g. I don’t remember exactly when). That reduces the risk of perjury.
