Sofia Airport has been renamed! It is now called Vasil Levski after one of Bulgaria's national heroes. Levski gave his life for his country in the fight against Ottoman rule, becoming one of the major figureheads in Bulgaria's freedom movement of the 19th century.

An interesting map of average 1-bedroom rents based around the existing Sofia metro network. It provides a useful insight even though some numbers look skewed due to low supply and other factors.
