It was in Masters of DOOM. His cat kept getting in his lap and the desk, and took it to a shelter. When Romero told him it was a kill shelter and would be put down, he just said "whatever, not my problem" and went back to programming.

Yeah, Toriyama was working with Shueisha (who owns the Dragon Ball IP) to establish the Capsule Corporation as a separate company to handle the brand, kind of like The Pokemon Company is to Nintendo. Then Toriyama died, and it's been hanging in a cluster F of uncertainty since then

Everything he does that's an adaptation or remake unnecessarily fleshes out the backstories or reinterprets the story to the point that it ruins it. I don't know why he keeps doing that, none of it is ever interesting.

What's funny is this studio went by Dynamo Pictures when they were doing mocap work on Death Stranding 2. So after Nintendo acquired them, DS2's credits had to list them as "Nintendo Pictures Co. Ltd" despite not being on Nintendo platforms
