What were you expecting to find?

British - visited 40+ countries, and 34 US states, but no more USA [for now].

If you want to know more, please ask.
Can it kill MRSA in a hospital? I don’t think vaccines work on bricks and mortar.

Can it order dominos though?

I’m not a robot… yeah, please never get rid of that on things like Ticketmaster and anything that is significantly scarce of supply and likely to be scalped/touted.

Best answer.

Yeah, figures. Got a bit blowy along the west end of the Solent last night too.

“The Register asked Microsoft for more information on this mysterious "compatibility issue", but it has yet to respond. The leading theory on social media is that the problem might be something to do with different CPU architectures.”

No it’s because the code is written by AI. Prove me wrong.

Folks with kids who booked Disney a year plus ago.

- Bill Duff said the company is "saving hundreds of millions of dollars a year" by using AI for customer support and reducing the need for human interaction.

Wrong:!They’re actually increasing the need for human interaction because support and product quality is that poor now.

Will that be Disney+ distributing into the U.K.?
May 13, 2025 at 9:21 PM
Subscription services should be funded purely by the cost of the subscription, trying to get advertising revenue out of paying customers is double-dipping and pure greed. Something here in the U.K. that SkyTV have managed to get away with for decades now.

Southampton MAST booked, thanks for heads up. Saw you at the Nuffield Theatre int he Uni campus what feels like years ago… think this will be the third or fourth time counting a Wimborne show too.

Microsoft has lost its way. Nadella needs to instigate a total change of leadership in many of the business units and product teams. Quality is down, support is next to non-existent
nowadays, or is simply under resourced and unskilled.

Shush, I don’t want to go back.
April 23, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Shush, I don’t want to be sent back.
April 23, 2025 at 10:05 PM
Isn’t it about time Nadella started firing people or resigned himself, and some competent leadership was installed through the various head of business unit levels now? We’ve suffered Win11 bypassing InTune blocks, unwanted automatic WinSrvr25 upgrades, and of course Crowdstrike. Enough is enough.

I did check his profile and saw he was in BC but a /s would have helped.
April 16, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Microsoft just aren’t worth giving your money any more. Nadella is unfit to lead.

Are they going to hide behind the fifo model like petrol stations do?
April 14, 2025 at 5:34 PM
What did he have to say about honey, on toast in particular?
April 12, 2025 at 10:38 AM
Windows 2000 Server bought us Active Directory, and we’re still using a version of that to this day. That’s monumental.

Can’t disappear those foreigners who no longer want to travel to the USA like me, and nearly everyone I talk to. Canada will get my tourist dollar instead.
April 9, 2025 at 12:34 PM
Oh and they’re largely (no pun intended) too big for our Rural roads and city parking spots.
April 6, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Can’t speak for any of Europe except U.K. Republic of Ireland, Malta and Cyprus, where we drive on the right side of the car, which is the primary reason we don’t take Left hooker American cars.

Feel for you, for me fortunately only my most recent pot is negative (2 years worth of employer/ee contributions). Older plans from the past 25 years are still much better than what was paid in and the effects of inflation, including the 9/11 and 2008 so don’t panic it’s a long game.
