A thing I never thought I would have to write: It is really, really bad, both morally and for -you- when the state decides to openly declare that due process doesn't exist in some cases.

Some recent work: Debates about prescribing puberty blockers to adolescents with experiencing gender dysphoria assumes that "bad consequence = harmful." But this isn't how harm works. Something could have a negative consequence and still be net beneficial
