I imagine for the fact that it has female characters who have their very own first-person consciousness. The front cover has the aforementioned name and author name along a pale blue bar that runs across an image of a stone archway, that gives way to a stone, spiral staircase, a feature commonly seen in old religious institutions. To the right of the book, my right thumb is visible, thick like a sausage with a nail I need to cut. Sorry about that.
