35 years ago a man killed 14 women at l’école polytechnique in #Montreal including Geneviève, a former schoolmate. Their loss is immeasurable, and the grief of their families and friends, including my sister, remains. The work to end violence against women belongs to all of us.

In 1964, the shíshálh Nation gave people living in the Sechelt region an enduring gift: land for the Sechelt/shíshálh Hospital. Last week, people gathered to mark 60 years of service with a beautiful blanket collaboratively woven by artist Jessica Silvey alongside hospital staff, nurses & doctors. 🙏🏼
