What's the point of having an army or an air force, if not for now? Europe's leaders seem incapable of understanding deterrence is peace.

Concensus that Russia will test NATO Art 5 in 3 - 5 years max. If there is a temporary cessation of conflict in Ukraine, the timeframe could be a year.
Little chance to build adequate deterrence unless urgent action is taken. A necessary read for EU & UK policy makers!
