HHS Secretary RFK Jr's actions serve only to further erode trust in science and public health. The actions of politicizing scientific decisions, sidelining career officials, and inserting ideological review only weakens the CDC and the public health. (7/7).

CDC must remain apolitical. They are charged with protecting the health and safety of Americans. CDC scientists have long been regarded as the best of the best, serving as subject matter experts here and abroad. They use the principles of the scientific method to shape policy and decisions. (6/n)
