setting aside Cuomo's sex scandals are his politics any different from Starmer's? Both are masters of telling people to trim their hopes and to make do with less, which is what centrist politicians have been offering voters since the financial crash (if not before)

forgive me, it is a false equivalency. Mamdani is giving free buses to everyone but Labour couldn't even do this for under-22s, as the Scottish government already does

"New Yorkers expect from their leaders a bold vision of what we will achieve, rather than a list of excuses for what we are too timid to attempt" - the last part could easily be the epitaph for Starmer's wretched Labour government
