Anna Biller’s #Viva is fascinating. Production & costume design, all by Biller, is superb (she also stars & is credited for writing, editing, producing & music). I loved her handling of tone, shifting seamlessly from comedic to deeply uncomfortable - she has a very strong vision.

Todd Haynes’ 'Poison' is fantastic. Complex subject matter handled in such an innovative & interesting way. I particularly enjoyed the 50s sci-fi segment. The way Haynes confidently flips between different styles really showcases his knowledge & craft of the moving image.
