The tuning is very low for a citole, mine (I have 2) are higher pitch, but you play the estampie well - great tune isnt it :)

There is no evidence for shamanism in Britain - or anywhere in Western Europe - if we use the proper meaning of the word. Shamanism is a Northern Asian tradition which migrated to a few other areas via cultural contact and migrations - neither of those brought it to Western Europe.
