Anyway here are some nice things from my weekend that made me smile: my sweet pup, these friendly cows, probably the freshest timbits I've ever had in my life were from a UK Tim Hortons, and these little dinky-dooda strawbs I grew in a container.

Moving out of London to be nearer to nature has paid off!!

One of my favourite things about my birthday is that it's the same day as Steve Irwin Day.

NgI, I did love the little retro cupboards and drawers, so we've kept the ones that survived the removal process as extra storage in our garage and a friend wanted some for his workshop.

So cool seeing our kitchen come together. I was a bit worried that since we started the process in June I might suddenly hate or regret the choices we made, but I'm just thrilled we'll have a kitchen that actually works.😆
