Good deal. Cover for the injury prone forwards who is probably of a similar standard to them anyway, and also seems suited to playing wide left and both being able to carry the ball and get in behind. Wouldn’t mind betting he ends up as first choice on the left if he doesn’t have to play centrally.

Sorry to be that guy ignoring the video and asking about transfers, but… what do you think about Lookman? How does he rate compared to Savinho? Should we be worried about his previous in the PL if we do sign him?

Any chance on a piece looking at Ryan Mason at WBA once a few more games have happened? Would be interested to know how he’s getting on, what they think of him, what kind of system he’s playing (and how it compares to the THFC managers he worked with)

I reinstalled Twitter during the MGW saga and now I’m refreshing it every 20 mins, and have been ever since the Savinho and Eze rumours began. My mood fluctuates wildly based on the latest twist and turn. “Advancing”, “difficult”, “pushing” - it all affects me. I can’t stand it, but I can’t quit.

Solanke injury starting to feel significant. One of those “just a few days” one that keeps having a few more days added and then all of a sudden they’ll decide it needs surgery. Without him and Udogie (let alone Maddison and Deki) that bench looks pretty light tbh. Where’s th3 depth we were after?

The shame of it is that for about 12 hours I thought we were really going to have a go. Kudus and MGW signing within 24 hours of each other promised so much.
