The orange menace did not do well with Native voters. No reliable poll of Native voters was taken. The grossly inaccurate poll you cite was not taken in any Native community, and allowed for self-i.d. - probably zero Native people were polled. #NativeVote

I don't know about far left... But I don't know what to call some of these creeps anymore. I think a lot of the old left/right categories have crumbled with horseshoe theory, and racists and misogynists from both sides finding fertile ground at that juncture. We're in Bizarroworld now.

Wow. The guy deleted his post. I think it was worth staying up, because WP are always appropriating Two Spirit. A discussion about it was worth having. When someone gets embarrassed at being taught some stuff, their deletion erases the words, time and effort of the people who took the time to teach.

It's been decades since I went to any of those gatherings. But when I did, we explored creating spaces and traditions for queer folks. Unfortunately, most of what people wanted to do was based in appropriation, as so much in the WP Pagan communities are. ... 1/2

Many WP Pagans try to justify appropriation by saying, "so much was lost". But so much survives. However, it demands throwing out misconceptions, learning the original languages, reading old texts, studying old as well as surviving folklore, and learning from Elders. It takes patience and time.

There's no equivalent term or concept in Old Irish or Gaelic. Trying to create one would be appropriation.
