Yeah, that makes sense. I've been trying to create a "framework agnostic component library" which feels possible if I can leverage custom elements for base components. Struggling to find where to draw the line though. Is it just atoms and tokens? Everything else can be in a framework?

Why don't we use web components as a base for building framework-specific ones? For instance, a react modal component that uses web component buttons? Am I missing something?
