I think at a high level, most people are simplifying these deals as circular. What they are is an infrastructure investment. The scale and demand for compute is so vast that chip makers (trains) need to invest in the DC infrastructure (tracks). It opens the door to more chips, networking, software

The startup investment environment needs to improve, but I know there are lots of things afoot. Already seeing some uni profs moving north. If we can get those research dollars, and improve the early stage environment some, we could grow. Canada has a legitimate value prop for data centres as well.

Vancouver seems likely due to PT. Microsoft, Amazon have large offices. Toronto and the greater area is always an option.
