Freeze warning this morning, though, so this likely will be my last “fresh” Friday Flowers, but I have more photos saved to get us through the winter. Here we have multiple varieties of dahlias and zinnias, mums in several colors, anemones, cosmos, stokesia, blue mist flower and more.

Thanks! Yes, Hub is always fun! I go to a smaller one in the suburbs because it's hard to get into Washington DC on a Friday evening from 30+ miles away and that hub has gotten HUGE. Last year we had a big group of newbies - always good to meet new people and help those new to the hobby

The Octopus inks are nice, as well, but being pigmented inks they would require a bit more pen care than I was willing to do for this pen.

After some tests, I decided on Diamine Forever Aqua Surf, which performed very well in the pen and didn’t go too light or too dark in an EF. It dries to a lovely, legible muted turquoise that matches my EF Sailor Fresca quite well.
