Supporter of free enterprise and entrepreneurs. Success should be rewarded and taxation lowered. Hate state control, sloppy public services and mindless Gov. interference
Sarwar says Scotland’s finances are unsustainable and Labour will support SNP tax plans. that is only because of appalling wastage by the SNP regime whose spending judgement have been irresponsible on many fronts. If Scotland had competent politicians then there would be no need to raise taxes

One week into 2026 and we have UK Labour in turmoil doing backward flips in panic and The Scot Nats already defending the indefensible in protecting Minister Constance plus trying to hide even more Ferry bills. The UK and Scotland need political change and competent Politicians very badly

2026- an interesting year politically in the UK. Devolved parliamentary elections will show how much people are sick with existing administrations and failed promises. Will the rise of Reform will hold firm ? Many may settle for a more moderate middle ground of Liberal Democrat policy. Fascinating.

I really hope 2026 is better than 2025 and sees the end of SNP rule in Scotland. Scotland is due a competent political regime without the bungling SNP. Vote them out in May. PLEASE
December 28, 2025 at 10:46 AM
My great hope for 2026 is that the public force the UK Labour Government and the devolved SNP regime in Scotland to realise the massive damage that they are doing to the way of life, businesses , enterprise, wealth and job creation. Huge change required as The UK races to the bottom.

Company owned by Michelle Mone ( ex House of Lords ) and her husband called PPE is wound up owing millions and millions of £s. Is this fraud on a massive scale ? Should they be prosecuted and jailed ? Have they benefited illegally from public funds ??

Does anyone following the Nurse Sandy Peggie tribunal wonder like me how on earth senior execs at NHS Fife are still in post ?
December 11, 2025 at 1:40 PM
Does the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves actually think that any UK taxpayer including private business owners either trust her or believe a word she says as she wriggles to distance herself from the events leading up to her shambolic budget ? Her credibility is totally shot
December 10, 2025 at 1:20 PM
I wonder if rugby followers agree with me that the 12 week suspension ( a large part of which would be holidays ) handed to South African Etzebeth for eye gouging makes a total mockery of disciplinary action by rugby authorities. His offence was of the very worst kind. 6/12 months was deserved
December 5, 2025 at 6:54 PM
Well done Labour MP Markus Campbell-Savours for having the political balls to vote against the outrageous IHT hit on British Farmers. The reaction of his party in suspending him and not those who abstained tells you much about the bully boy approach of the Labour Party.
December 4, 2025 at 4:30 PM
After today’s speech from Starmer and following press conference and revelations, it us very very hard to understand how the UK voters can trust the Labour Leader and Chancellor ever again. Credibility totally blown.
December 1, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Laura Kuenssberg has stripped Reeves deliberate misleading of British taxpayers wide open in tv interview. Reeves floundered and floundered- clearly not fit to hold office
November 30, 2025 at 5:32 PM
It is clear beyond doubt now after the deceitful budget that Starmer and Reeves have played British taxpayers for suckers with Machiavelli type politics, pitchers full of greasy slippery porkies and slavish adherence to their ultra left wing political mantra. Never trust Labour.

Watching the Budget
Speech the Prime Minister looks as though he is attending a funeral
November 26, 2025 at 1:14 PM
Whatever bad news for taxpayers Reeves delivers today, she and Starmer deserve massive criticism for the appalling stream of pre budget leaks and rumours. It is a very shoddy way to govern and Labour are living up to their woeful reputation

The injury inflicted on the Argentine player by Tom Currie’s avoidable late challenge brings into question the need for rugby law makers to consider retrospective action when the injury consequences are so serious. Match officials also need to consider instant action when injury clearly results
November 25, 2025 at 1:03 PM
Am I alone in thinking the there should be more than just two senior BBC people taking the can ? Who were the day to day executives who were behind the Trump edit scandal and why are they still in post ?
November 24, 2025 at 6:17 PM
The days of a Chancellor going into Purdah before the Budget are sadly supplanted by Gov leeks, rumours and speculation all of which are destabilising and massively unsettling for the electorate of GB. Reeves’ nauseating whiney tones will further unsettle Britain this week as she wriggles further
November 23, 2025 at 10:19 AM
What are the consequences for those Politicians criticised in the Covid Enquiry Report ? Damage to their personal credibility and public trust yes, BUT anything else ???
November 21, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Keir Starmer is travelling abroad again! Could it be that he is trying to avoid questioning in the HoC ?
November 21, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Amongst Scottish soccer euphoria, we should not forget that for large parts of the game Scotland were second best. Denmark ran rings round us and we couldn’t get the ball. When we did we lost it! Lots to ponder there too
November 19, 2025 at 9:41 AM
The Labour Party in the UK are taking voters for mugs and driving the UK to the bottom fast. Leaking tax rumours faster than fast is deliberately destroying confidence, creating employment unrest and driving wealth creators abroad. Utter political madness while they squabble amongst each other.

Shameful and seriously unsporting behaviour by USA golf fans at Bethpage. They have sullied the sporting reputation of the USA aided and abetted by the Media who have fuelled this up for weeks
September 28, 2025 at 9:18 AM
Isn’t it amazing how the USA are overplaying their Ryder Cup confidence ? The higher they climb with arrogant chat, the further they fall in defeat. The European team under Luke Donald are playing it commendably cool.

Almost daily we hear how the Chancellor of the Exchequer is likely to raise taxation and hit our treasured way of life. How deeply depressing, short term thinking and vindictive politics of envy are. The fabric of the UK is crumbling under Labour.
