I have decided to give Shadi a sling! The perfect weapon for a street urchin who wants to cause chaos and mayhem, she has probably been using it since childhood.
She needed a weapon, but she's too small for melee weapons (1.54m tall). A sling was ideal: cheap and inconspicuous.
