On February 1st she was not recovering from Covid, it was not raining, and no one she loved died. So the outside Christmas decorations finally came down.
The inside decorations may come down as well. But first she needs a little rest and hydration.

I’m so numb I felt basically nothing at the funeral of a family member today.
So then I put in a new earring stack and turned my bogg bag into my crochet project organizer.

The 6yo and I bought yarn today. I am going to make a temperature blanket of 2018, her birth year. I plan to make and consume a lot more art this year, and this will be one part of that.

This has been a very hard week mentally and emotionally. A family member used a gun to end their life, & a teenager in my community used a gun to end the life of another & themselves. The same week it feels like we’ve put a loaded gun aimed at democracy & decency in the White House.
