He has tried contacting the builder multiple times but gets no response. I've suggested reporting to the HSE if it wasn't being checked regularly for safety (it definitely isn't!)

Builders variously claimed the space was common ground (it isn't) or that they had permission from the council (not sure how that would work as the council doesn't own the flat - council denied all knowledge when he contacted them anyway).

My son and his girlfriend have been in a similar position since June. Scaffolding appeared in the private outdoor space of their ground floor rented flat that was used for a few days to repoint masonry of flats above.

My eldest used to use jamp instead of jumped. We would correct him until we were discovered it is actually fine, a good Scots version!
