Books 📚 Music 🎶 & Running 🏃‍♂️ also of interest.
Current read. Smartphone Nation by Dr Kaitlyn Regehr.

I would recommend it for anyone and everyone even remotely concerned about how technology has become always on in our lives.

Important and relevant evidence of the problems and the solutions we can aim for.

Recommended by my principal and at several points by others this year - one of many summer reads that are ongoing.

Enjoying it so far and finding the examples used more relatable to Ireland than many similar books often provide.

Read/listened to (thanks for options local library and app) A Heart that Works by Rob Delaney.

This may be one of the best and most devastating things I've read. This book has had me crying it's that powerful.

It may also be one of the most beautiful ways to share Henry's life and their story.

Leading with the Heart by Coach K.

I'm working my way through this book at the moment.

I find it's easy to engage with this one as it's based around teamwork and our role within it as leaders. Someone recommended it to me, and it's just a solid read. 📚

Status Anxiety by Alain De Botton

Really nice short book with important food for thought. Perception of our status is far more powerful than perhaps I'd given credit to. Enjoyed it.

New Year resolution was to run a 5k. 🏃‍♂️

Job done.✅️

2025 completed.✅️

The pressure is off now. Guess I'll try to go faster next time? 😅

Everything else is a bonus. 💪🏆

When the family finds the vintage toys (circa 1980) and they still work.

Audio quality is still outstanding.

Thread for storing books I'm reading/have read - anything and everything really.

First up, a very thoughtful Kris Kindle gift from a colleague.

I'm hoping I can finish it before the year wraps up. 📚 📖 📙 📘
