There was 100% a chance in my eyes! But no fowl either way. As a designer I recognise the work that went into making your gameplay loop as good as it was. Legit I couldn't put the game down, the story was great but even without it I would have been happy (so long as Pinky was still there ofc)

Employee is determined by the hiring process. If you hire the right person that's suited to the role, you can expect them to perform better than someone who isn't. And it's not the employees fault at all!

These aspects are "wrong" then the game can't do much else to change someones mind, and the consumer loses out as well, as steam failed them in terms of showing them what they want, by showing them what they don't want.

That isn't great, but one thing I've learnt over the years is that a game is judged at two points by the player. On purchase and on play, you'd at least hope that they had judged the game wrong before purchase. As clearly they were interested enough to part cash, but what they were interested in...
