Wanted to post this last week but didn’t have time. This little Halloween corner of my little cubicle is making me so happy right now.
Halloween corner! Gnarly black branches accent gauzy black distressed cloth. A poster that mimics vintage horror movies in black, white and orange. Interior mural art on the wall along the pool table in the new downtown sports bar. I was there at lunch two Fridays previous for a downtown promotional event. I couldn’t read the artist signature and no one working knew who painted it. The comic theme fits the bartop which was filled with comic book covers and art. There was another mural of a local empty baseball field but it wasn’t that interesting.

This, plus doing two other things, has nearly eliminated most of my problems.
The Arch-Emily's eczema calming remedy tea. Black Oolong tea. (1 to 1.5 teaspoons or 1.5 to 2 grams) I use Vietnamese Mountain Oolong Raw unfiltered honey. One 16oz / 473ml container (I use a mason jar) Makes two days servings. Fill container with water. Place tea bag or steep bag or container inside. Seal container. Let stand for 12 to 24hrs. Remove tea bag/steeper. Add honey to taste. SHAKE container until honey is dissolved. Store in refrigerator. Drink 1/2 of the container (8oz 225ml) everyday.

(Played by the fantastic Lu Bai ❤️) Friends, you guessed it. They’re roommates. This show was equal measure humor, commentary on women’s rights and gender roles, and fantastic period costuming. Add in some Republic Era history. (Japanese infiltrators and espionage). It’s actually a really good series with its only flaw of letting the villain monologue way too long right before their demise. We had a street market today downtown and guess who spent money on honey, flowers, garlic, ginger, spicy chutney, low sugar apple butter, cucumbers and a new scarf? #FreshOnFridays
Mobile Market uses their profits for the HEP homeless programs that helps disinfranchised people get back on their feet again. Image is of the small food truck like mobile vehicle with fruits and vegitables avaiable for sale. Two ladies talk and laugh together at the market. One of the those pink gerber daisies is totally at my desk now. Young woman in a purple dress tends to the flowers she is selling. Scarves are displayed on wooden hangers at another booth.
