Having been on a 100HZ monitor for the past few years, I definitely don't notice raw frame rate as much as I notice bad frame pacing, vertical tearing, and inconsistent frame rate. Those 3 issues IMO are serious problems to address as they contribute to bad game feel more than the frame rate itself.

the closest i came to this was playing even flow in gh3 on medium so many times i came close to FC'ing it blindfolded.
