Unifi price tag will go along with apple.

Mikrotik you can have 100Gb for less than 1K €

I went Mikrotik.
Learning curve is steep.

Learned a lot about networking.

Colleague use unifi.
His description of it is it’s the apple of networking. Expensive but sleek and it just works.

In comparison I would say that Mikrotik is a custom pc with Linux on it.

You don’t need 5k to tinker.

And it’s more about avoiding spyware than tinkering.

I see the use of llm but I definitely don’t wanna be “monitored” using it.
