In Canada at least, unemployment does not count those not looking for a job. So it really throws cold water on unemployment numbers if there are many not even thinking looking for a job is worth it.

So then if they can't find workers, they close or pay higher wages. If they pay higher wages, prices go up. This is why pushing out foreign workers means higher prices

I always find it funny. Lower inflation does not mean lower prices. Lower inflation is prices getting more expensive slower.
