It also seeks to redefine Social Studies, and eliminates requirements such as History and Holocaust & Genocide education, amongst others.

If passed, schools would no longer be required to provide these subjects and teach these lessons.

One notable bill is HB283. It seeks to rewrite #NH definition of an adequate education and would remove several subject areas from public school, such as World Language and all Arts education, amongst others.

This coming week they will be hearing bills relating to the education system, absentee ballot voting, marijuana legalization, and minimum hourly wage, amongst many others.
