My son made tiramisu for Christmas dessert. Totally from scratch, including pulling the several espresso shots. I have no idea why he decided to take on such a time consuming project, but I'm glad he did because it was truly excellent.

In case you missed it on SportsCenter, we had an instant classic in 7th grade rec league basketball last night. Tied 30-30 after regulation, and still tied after 3 tense overtimes. They decided to call it a draw. Boooo.

I was hoping my blood donation would be super quick today on account of the weather, but it's busier than ever. What's the point of making an appointment if I'll still have to wait for.... who knows how long?

Crazy wind today! I watched a couple (already dead) trees fall in the woods behind our house. The snack cart we put out for delivery drivers is on wheels and zoomed right off the front porch. Lights flickered a few times, but we managed to keep power.
