It's almost time for Trunk or Treat! This is one of our favorite events, and a chance to give something back to the community that hosts us on matchdays. Join us! If you are unable to make the event but would like to donate candy to, the easiest way to do so is here: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...

Y'all are amazing. $59,820 raised during our 2025 Prideraiser campaign benefitting @ruthelliscenter.bsky.social and the LGBTQ+ youth of Detroit. We are incredibly thankful to every single one of you who pledged, donated, shared links and volunteered to support us this year.

This brings our current pledge total for Prideraiser, with 17 goals and 182 pledges (so far), to $35,711.63!!! There are still one time donations, cash donations, and partner donations to be added as well. Y'all are amazing.

Fun fact: as of tonight, NGS Prideraiser has crossed the 100 total goals mark (since 2017)

With the two women's team goals tonight, here's where we stand:

There's only two matches left, let's fucking go!!!

📣 PRIDERAISER FINAL WEEK CHALLENGE 🌈⚽️

We are currently at $1468.79 pledged per goal, and we KNOW y'all can do better than that.

If our Prideraiser campaign benefitting REC hits $3000 per goal by 6/30, Matt is shaving their head. On camera. For all to see.

Yup. Bald. Buzzed. Gone.

Inspired by David Lynch's character on Twin Peaks, "Fix your hearts or die" is an invitation for self reflection and the opening of hearts, or risk suffering the agony and corrosion of holding onto hate.

This iconic woman did so much for the community- and to this day, the Ruth Ellis Center continues her legacy. The support they provide to the LGBTQ+ youth of Detroit is vital, and it's important that we do everything we can to ensure they have the funds they need to keep it up. How can you help?

How can you help contribute to Prideraiser AND score a one of a kind NGS shirt?
Join us from 11am-4pm on June 14 at NGS HQ for our City Till We Dye tie dye party!

Today, March 31st, marks International Transgender Day of Visibility.

Trans Day of Visibility (TDOV) was created in 2010 by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a friend of Detroit City FC and NGS Cares and the founder of Transgender Michigan.

These idiots jumped into freezing water to support Special Olympics Michigan today. So nice of them to give us a trophy for being dumb, too.

$3,830 raised this year.

It was never just about sports.

The Reps from Michigan who voted in favor of this draconian filth includes:

Hillary Scholten
Debbie Dingell
Haley Stevens
Shri Thanedar
Elissa Slotkin
November 13, 2024 at 2:44 AM
This includes FIVE Democrats from Michigan who essentially voted in favor of expanding the power of Trump’s incoming government to strip nonprofits of their tax status. Palestinian aid groups are most certainly the main target but this very well could have a much broader reach.
