News has long been in my DNA, but I'm stepping back for the time being to catch my breath. Call it temporary disengagement, a tactical retreat -- without quitting the battlefield.

I've deactivated all news notifications on my phone as they were driving my blood pressure to dangerous heights; I'm reading only headlines of articles relating to the new U.S. administration's policies and statements, and avoiding any images or audio of the administration.
