But here we're back at my question I posed a couple of times already: the "coming out" analysis has to presuppose assholeness as an already positive property (but repressed, "in the closet") - can that be said of 8th graders?

After teaching a bit in a school for the first time: it's also incredible how much of New/Alt Right sentiment is fueled by pure transgression. Like Milo said: "The alt-right is the new punk. It's fun and subversive".
