Excellent analysis from Bruce Schneier, which gives a reminder of the problems of the harmful incentives of an advertising-supported social media and how they (can easily) transfer to AI.

I guess I’m afraid of a fear-mongering channel. It is concerning enough that anyone watches, let alone believes what they see on GB news. “GB news is…at best…factually unreliable show business for uninteresting people. At worst it is right-wing propaganda and conspiracy theories”
