Just curious if you already know about a book I just discovered. It might be relevant to the future discussion of 1984. It is Cold Warriors: Writers Who Waged the Literary Cold War by Duncan White, 2019. I about fell over when I picked it up from the library, as it 700 pages!

This is one that broke my heart a few years back now. I'm sorry I've forgotten the details, but there was a terrible flood that destoyed many homes. I rarely post in FB, but I posted this. I still can't look at it without choking up.

It is incomprehensible to me how Trump and his minions can be so despicable and hateful as human beings. Whatever is in their brains and in their souls is so toxic and evil that they need to change their MAGA hats to CAUTION HAZARDOUS MATERIAL hats.

Harvey Milk was more of a true warrior than Hogsbreath could ever be, AND Milk will always have a FOREVER stamp, even if a petty little, Trump ass kissing, cowardly DWI hire, bristling with toxic masculinity, in combination with having the brain of a gnat, renames Milk's ship.
