True story: I started with her lips because I was convinced they’d be the hardest part to draw convincingly. If I failed with those, the whole picture would be bin fodder… glad I kept going! #Art

My pencil drawing of Dakotas and Paratroopers during Operation Market Garden has a “Then and Now” theme - I’ve added Hercules and A400M aircraft.
I created it for a sadly cancelled project and it’s 70cm x 50cm, so quite large (for me!).

Right, here is “Impressions #48”: “Abstract 1988 LM”. It celebrates Jaguar’s 1988 Le Mans victory - its first win at La Sarthe since 1957. To think that that gap is smaller than from its last victory to now! 🤯

Here is the finished abstract pencil drawing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
It’s 42cm x 30cm and took me a shade over 50 hrs to complete. I loved every second of it and am very proud of what I’ve done here. I hope you all like it, too.

Nice couple of hours working on my abstract pencil portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, this morning. I’m absolutely loving this piece, so far. Sadly, my phone camera doesn’t do the colour any justice!

Here’s a piece I drew for a project that has, rather sadly, been cancelled (nobody involved at fault).
It depicts #RoyalNavy carrier borne aircraft - Sopwith Camel, Supermarine Seafire, Sea Harrier and F35B.
It’s all graphite and is 70cm across. It’s a lovely piece which I spent 90 hours on.
