In my view, it is an election loss that has been 10 to 15 years in the making, given the long term direction of the Liberal Party over that time. They’ll never get back in until they see and understand why, and do something about it. To some of us outside the party, its been obvious for a long time.

I agree, a total lie. The Constitution says nothing about ‘parties’ at all. I hope this election results in a cross bench holding the balance of power. I would imagine that @tonywindsor.bsky.social would concur that a minority Govt with a constructive cross bench can work very effectively.
