We’re sad to share we have lost a gentle giant from @swpolice.bsky.social.

RPH Bodie retired to his devoted mounted officer, & while they had some adventures, he sadly passed away 20/7.

Bodie served for 9 years, a stellar career, keeping communities safe, & he was much loved.

Welcoming RPD Frankie from @swpolice

Frankie decided Police work was no longer for her, & for her well-being she’s been retired.

Welcome to the NFRSA family Frankie - time to put those paws up!

RPD Sully.

A faithful boy, right to the end.

Thank you for your service to HMP Maghaberry, you’ll never be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with your family - we’ll be there for them helping cover the medical costs, which we do with big respect.

Sleep well.

Introducing RPD Wasp. He had a hugely successful career with Gwent Police as a GP & Firearms Support Dog, before retiring due to an injury.

RPD Wasp is a striking black GSD who wins hearts with his good looks.

What a sweetheart - thank you for your service.

RPD Hektor has joined the NFRSA family.

As a retired police dog, he protected his handler (he once bit a suspect on the butt when he punched his handler in the throat!), and his communities for 7 years.

Our turn to protect you now Hektor - we’ll be there if you ever need us.

Sally Richards from South Wales Police has reached Mount Everest Base Camp, raising funds for the NFRSA!

Huge challenge. She’s suffered exhaustion, altitude sickness, breathing difficulties, but she’s done it!

All in memory of RPD Dougie, who passed away in July.

Congratulations & thank you!

Meet RPD Koko, who retired earlier this year after 6 years serving as a Specialist Search Dog at Greater Manchester Police.

She is a very happy dog who loved working & was, still is, always in charge!

Welcome Koko, now your Dad is a full time instructor, it’s time to put those paws up!
