My only note: It was a wild twist when the fascist president embraced the Dem Soc mayor of his hometown like his only beloved son, but the writers should have saved the Pope's rave for the final episode of this season of the USA.

This morning is a haze. At around 3:30am, my dog shrieked and shot out of bed to the living room. An inspection of both the bed and canine revealed no obvious cause of the fracas. I sat with him for an hour before convincing him to go back to sleep. Far fetched, but I think it was a bad dream.

Six months ago, I threw out all of the sketch books I'd kept since 1987. I thought I'd eventually regret that decision but when I think about it, I feel an enormous weight has actually been lifted instead.
