I went to conferences, talked to many people in this field, and this mindset is widespread. There’s one exception: products known to be headed for testing. Those are treated with extreme care, assembled and checked meticulously. People have a clear understanding: this unit will go to testing, that one will sit in a silo. Yes, the industry develops in some way, because if you pour enough money into something, even with corruption, there will be some result. Why is stuff like this showing up in my Discover feed? Seems to be about some ball game, but the have no reposts and almost no likes. Why does the Discover feed think I need to see these??

Oh, I thought he was embezzling or something like that? The trial for which got suspended when he (again) became prime minister.

I just finished the book Between Two Rivers by @moudhy.bsky.social, and boy what a journey it was. I've always been fascinated by archaeology, and generally the older the subject, the more fascinating.
This took things to a whole new level.
