I don't buy it. Imo it's community culture. Golang requires often remarkable boilerplate repetition. Still the overall tenure is - roll your own, stick to standard lib.

iOS has one the longest security updates cycles. iPhone 8 iOS 16 is 8 years old and it just got a security update 2 days ago and is still officially supported.

I see the EOL for old hardware is happening because MacOs is dropping support for Intel long term.
Open core can't do anything here. They ship or enable old drivers for an OS which technically works on the hardware already. Likely you still get 3 years security updates on current hardware.

I have a hobby keeping the 2015 MacBook alive. Open Core is amazing . Also old intel MacBooks run Linux just fine. If your hardware is not terrible old to support Wayland .

I have a hobby keeping the 2015 MacBook alive. Open Core is amazing . Also old intel MacBooks run Linux just fine. If your hardware is not terrible old to support Wayland .

There is a cache with packages copies. But yes, they get copied everywhere. Pip can't deal with multiple versions of a package. Afaik, there is no package manager in python doing it differently. In ruby bundler works the not lame way

Das ist im realen Leben ähnlich. Auf Quantum Ebene ist alles Random aber es ergibt am Ende das gleiche Objekt.

Judging form issue list, there are probably bunch of not working edge cases. However the lib generally works for us over multiple years. It has no wheels published for any
