I've been mighty busy these past few months, but I recently saw the "Silence = Death" post from @roclgbtqhistory.bsky.social. Surely I'm not the only one who thought about it, but I figured the whole poster was overdue for an update.
An upward pointing pink triangle is surrounded by a vast field of black. A white stripe is hand painted down the middle, as well as a blue stripe down the left and right sides, turning the pink triangle into a trans symbol. Some distance below, in big bold letters, is "SILENCE = DEATH". A passage is written in much smaller text, requiring close inspection: "Why are so many people silent about trans oppression? What is really going on at the Trump administration? Trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people are not expendable. Use your power. Vote…Boycott…Defend yourselves…Turn anger, fear, grief into action."
