What you’re witnessing is a populist assault on the BBC.

If I were Jewish I'd be concerned about people like @chiefrabbi.bsky.social conflating resistance to the Israeli military with antisemitism.
Antisemitism is the hatred of Jews *for being Jews* - it's very dangerous to define all Jews as being represented by an extreme and violent minority.

And this is why we shouldn't tolerate courts ruling on a scientific matter without the extensive input of experts in the field.

Across the country, orgs will be forced to choose between being a sex-based women's service, having to exclude trans women, and abandoning women-only spaces to ensure inclusion. The latter option, which is the only one I'm prepared to stand by, places women at greater risk. Make it make sense.

So weird that the same promotor organising Nish Kumar's Berlin show is also responsible for putting on Jordan Peterson. Not Nish's fault I'm sure, but makes me a bit hesitant to book. Am I being prudish?

Listening to the @therestpolitics.bsky.social interview with @chrystia-freeland.bsky.social, a little belatedly. Man, it sounds like an AI version of a prime time interview. I'm just hearing talking points (albeit ones I largely agree with). Nobody's getting elected sounding this insincere.

Isn't the US showing that the gap between democracy and authoritarianism isn't as clear-cut as we'd like to think?
