Makes me sad re-reading this amazing letter from ex-Watergate Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox sent to high school seniors in 1994 after they asked him “What should Americans learn from Watergate?” 20 years later in ‘94.

After Tom Homan threatened to jail local officials who oppose mass deportations, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston said he’s prepared to go: “Gov Carr has always been one of my heroes. He was the Gov in the middle of Japanese internments during WW2 who said this was the wrong thing to do.”
