Anna Foka giving a brilliant keynote on "AI and Heritage: Critical perspectives on AI for the Archives, Libraries and Museum sector" – and of course, I was especially happy about the opportunity to quickly revive my Swedish reading skills on some of the slides showing ongoing projects ☺️

Is it just me or should one be a bit concerned to have a view of the sea in a hotel in Darmstadt?
Glad they enjoyed it, though

(What guests who stayed here liked best:
"The view of the sea and the bridge from the room was wonderful, especially at night.")

As we're coming to terms with the nearing end of the first #RC21Symposium day, Susan Hunston shows how concordances help to systematise unexpected uses of constructions.

In the second training day session, @schtepf.bsky.social brings order to the complex and often under-operationalised analysis of concordances

☕ Discussions on concordance analysis are in full flow as @michamahlberg.bsky.social is guiding us through concordance basics.
🗒️ Whether on paper or on the screen – you can't read too many concordances a day!

Having discoursemes as a unit of analysis rather than an informal label confined to a spreadsheet also enables more advanced operations, such as calculating associations between categories
