I think therefore I ruminate. Tech sector plebeian. I tweet about feminism, Seattle, the great PNW, technology, books, food, music, liberal politics. Sometimes I cuss. Low estrogen levels: FAFO.

Why decline all these chances to defend feminism? Because to participate would be accepting the premise that our rights and humanity are up for debate in the first place.

Once you’ve conceded that it’s reasonable to ask whether women’s equality was a mistake, you’ve already lost.

I love Jessica Valenti.
Because it’s not just Bari Weiss’ CBS asking this question—in the last few months, I’ve been approached by half a dozen different shows looking to ‘debate’ the same topic.

I even got a request from NPR-distributed “Open to Debate” to see if I’d weigh in on “Has Feminism Hurt Women?”

Ridiculous. White men can’t claim this until they’ve been truly marginalized for hundreds of years like the rest of us.
🧵 Vice President JD Vance amplified EEOC Chair Andrea Lucas' recruiting ad for white men to file discrimination complaints against their employers.

The Trump administration continues following Project 2025, the ideological blueprint for white Christian nationalism.

Chicken and Red Lentil Soup With Lemony Yogurt  Recipe

“No, I’m not strong,” I said. “I’m a woman over 50 with no more fucks and a lawyer.”

Thoughts on bike commuting in Chandler, AZ:

1. It is flat here, which is so nice for cycling.
2. Hyper-awareness and defensive cycling are imperative at intersections. 90% of drivers at intersections were turning right while looking left. If I wasn't paying attention, I would have been hit.
