Living where I do, and with the baggage I have, it's hard to feel emotionally close to people. I'm 35 this year and have never really been on a date. I fall for people who are emotionally unavailable, and I struggle with basic things. It feels hopeless, and so very isolating.

I think we fall into this loop of "oh I have energy for friends/activities! I will partake!" Then we neglect personal care, such as reasonable sleep schedules, more to chase thise highs. I fall victim to this. We have to hold ourselves accountable and do these things in moderation.
