Valve activity discourages snap and flatpak versions of steam because they aren't considered or tested when developing steam.

Ubuntu is bullish on snaps because they invented it but the steam snaps are often broken.

He promptly complained about dell not providing Linux drivers for that laptop in a roundabout way.

His windows/macos software not having support for Linux.

Wasn't willing to give alternatives a fair shot like he most likely would on macos.
Tinkering with the os instead of just using it breaks it?🤦‍♂️

He also went with Ubuntu! That trash heap fails to install if you look at it wrong.

Canonical has all but given up on maintaining that distro since their cloud service took off in the early 2000s.

My windows apps don't work on Linux so Linux is bad.
I'm an experienced user because I played with Ubuntu for a few months ten years ago(like so many others).
