In gen 5 Snivy is easily the pick as the starter. I'm not super familiar with gens 5-7 so this should be a fun new experience. The music is already so good as I get to the first gym.

I want to nuzlocke a game at some point, but hear that renegade plat is very hard and likely not a good starting point.
