What a great film Mickey 17 is! The best sci-fi film i've watched, with all the marks of good SF - advanced tech, space, alien life, ethic discussions and social commentary. Loved it to death.

Had a lot of fun watching Nosferatu (2024)! It run a bit too long in my opinion, but the cinematography and commitment to the time period were fantastic! And I really liked how they showed the vampire as more of a cosmic horror than a normal vampire.

I was looking forward to watching Megalopolis, but it left me baffled. There's a scene in the movie where the mayor dreams of a cloud reaching and grasping the moon - this was how the film felt for me. Insubstantial, reaching too high, dream-like. It offered a lot of philosophy, but nothing landed.
